Arrived into T5 yesterday at c. 7.30am - all OK if you were able to use eGates (5 to 10 mins wait) but if you got rejected / "seek assistance" then the line was the longest I'd seen since COVID-19 (must have been an hour or longer). Line for non-eGate pax was also crazy long.

Also, these strikes are having knock-on impacts on baggage delivery. Our bags were due to be delivered to belt 3 but because belt 3 was being used for the Mumbai flight (and I guess the vast majority of pax on the Mumbai flight were stuck in the crazy long immigration queues) none of the Mumbai bags were being picked up, so the belt was full with the Mumbai bags - leaving no room for any other bags from other flights to be added. Our bags took 90 mins to surface. Heaven forbid BA/LHR should have people pulling off bags to make way for other flights like 99% of other airports on Earth.
