PM Luxon might just know a bit about AKL-PVG’s finances. So I’d be expecting there to be very uncomfortable questions about Shanghai being asked. Not least “why are you talking about reopening Gatwick? Why don’t you close Shanghai and buy some slots at Heathrow which will deliver better yields and loads than Gatwick?”
Such questions should be from the Board surely (at least initially), rather than the government?
