About RA qualification.

One must have AMB to be invited to RA.
There are some FT:members with AMB in end 2023 who were invited as first timers for new 2024 RA.

it seems more or less that IHG looks at the total amount of $ spend with IC. The higher the better.
Anything > $10.000 at IC seems to attract their attention. Although with inflation + higher room rates, it could be indeed be nowadays > $12000

Some observations from this thread,
IHG would track a person via AMB membership how tenure in 1/2/3 years x $ spend x stay paterns x habits would evolve aka is the guest an interesting profitable one at IC. There are some factors that IHG seems to look at :
- depends on your country of residence
- which are your frequented IC and how often
- how many unique IC / unique different countries
- not all IC are equal in weighted importance ranking ,
(there is an internal difference between, city hotels vs resorts, capital cities, pricing levels, country's standard )
- availability IC in your visited destinations VS hotels of competition
- stay habit commitment to standard rooms VS suites
- compensation of low EQN at IC with high EQP at IC
- evaluation of high EQN but with low EQP at IC
- leisure vs business
* bit unofficial but some on this thread hold "furniture" status meaning their frequented IC does have an extensive profile / history of their devotion that IHG can track
