I was getting quite frustrated with one of mine as they wouldn’t allow a stopover but then conceded that if I was going around the world then I would of course be stopping in places not flying on a nonstop routing from London to London around the world 😂. Unclear why you can’t have stopovers on some routes but can on others. Also I don’t get the most direct routing thing. I’m going via KUL even though it’s very much out of the way because this is the route that has Avios availability. I could go “more direct” via HKG or DOH but there is no Avios availability. Does this get considered when working out if one is taking the most direct route?
