But what isn't known at the moment is whether there will be any engineering works next July affecting Eurostar and / or Avanti.

UK rail engineerign works are usually punlished around 12 weeks before so for a July weekend it will be published in April.
I know that now HS2 is more likely to end up in Acton than anywhere near zone 1 but, that aside, having the two HS lines of this country terminating half a mile apart without connecting was immensely stupid.
