Priority check-in, security and boarding, lounge access is provided by both SAS Plus and EBG. SAS Plus gives you a meal and the seats are the same (no blocked middle seat), so as a EBG member would I be paying a hefty premium for an on-board meal?
In addition to the higher miles earnings and the meal, you'll also get a seat closer to the front. Which means that you'll be among the first to disembark. And it seems that the A320NEO has 30 inches pitch in rows 2-10, but 29 inch pitch in rows 14-29, so you could get more leg room. Also, in my experience, there's a higher chance of a free middle seat in plus than in economy.
