Use Redeemable Miles (RDM) on the least expensive, shortest award flights from your home base. How many segments do you need?
Taking into account a planned trip in October 2024, I would still have been two Premier Qualifying Flights (PQF) short of attaining Premier Gold membership. So in early August I went on a one-day PQF run, SPN-GUM-NRT-SPN, for 40K RDM, gaining three PQF, one more than I needed. (I could have done SPN-GUM-SPN for fewer RDM, but at the cost of overnight lodging, since the daily flight is operated GUM-SPN-GUM.)
