But back to my example - at Dulles during this period - the lounge allegedly closes at 10. LHR is at 1115 (boarding at 1025) and GRU is at 1130 (boarding at 1040). FRA somewhere in there as well.

I am not doubting the accuracy of the response. But I don’t think it’s defensible or competitive (at least against the likes of BA or LH on those routes which would absolutely ensure their lounges are open till boarding time).
