Cap1 Travel does not sell Southwest. Any ideas out there as to how I can turn the soon to expire unused credit on Cap1 into a credit I can use at a later date?
United (and I think AA/DL), will give you a credit if you cancel tickets booked via Cap1 on their sites. For UA at least, you need to wait at least 24 hours. These credits are only good for a year after date of original ticket issue.
On the other hand, I would be questioning the value of a card like the VX for you if you are turning to work arounds like this to use an annual credit like this.
