I'm looking at flights between Chicago and NYC in November, none of which seem to have meals in F regardless of time, airplane, or airports. I know I've had full meals on this route before; is this a recent change? Was it an exception route before, like NYC-ATL, and isn't any longer? It obviously falls just under the 900-mile threshold.
