A very short day 2

That was a LONG flight, at around 14 hours including delay at the stand. And I will admit I spent the last 4 or so hours feelings rather worse for wear

With ‘Wonka’ as my selected film tonight, for dinner, I choose to start with the chicken Caesar salad, accompanied with a glass of white:

for the main, I choose salmon and potato mash thingy:

Followed by a panna cotta dessert, and mini cheese selection combo, washed down with a port (blaming this drink choice for how I was feeling by hour 10). Or maybe it was the follow up Bailey’s that was the straw that broke the camels back!

I wasn’t massively hungry tonight, having had a few bites in the lounge, however I did enjoy the food (my expectations were fairly low).

2 hours in, and more than ready too sleep, I set my bed to flat, added the mattress topper, and tucked myself in. This BA A380 Club World bed is quite a lumpy experience, and fairly narrow to boot. Still, I managed to get about 7 hours shut eye; despite there being a small light next to the tray unit that would not turn off!

2 hours before landing, breakfast was served. I could only manage the fruit starter, and declined the “main” dish.

Good crew today. Everything delivered on time.

Arriving into Singapore was a breeze. Ordered a Grab, and made our way to The Clan hotel, in Chinatown. View from the room;

we’ve just headed up to the top floor (30) for a lovely evening dip.

Time to freshen up, and get some food!
