Hi gang, first time here! Going Montreal to Athens next week, Sept 3, have economy tickets purchased with points. Would like to bid on Signature Class, but website says minimum bid is $950 or something for each seat (2 people traveling together). Thoughts? Tips? I did Signature class from Vancouver to Tokyo a couple years ago - game changer to lie flat, sleep well, and arrive refreshed with no jet lag, ready to ski! Thanks for your help!

Using expert flyer, you can see that the flight you’re taking from YUL to ATH is J0, which means they are not selling any more business class seats. You may place a bid and it’s possible it could get accepted if someone cancels or changes their flight before then.
Unfortunately, you cannot bid less than the minimum and cannot bid for specific segments of your flight unless you book them as separate flights, which is not recommended for a connecting flight like that.
The flight on September 4 is J1, which means they’re only selling one more business class seat. The odds of them accepting your bid over everyone else’s are not good. I would not switch your flight to the next day, hoping for an upgrade.
Drink lots of water, get some sleep, and have a great trip.
