First time to Maldives and was thinking of splitting the stay between beach villas (3 days) and OWV (2 days).

But am not sure I understand the pricing of the cheaper rooms.

Using cash, Lagoon villa, Beach villa and Sunrise OWV all appear to cost the same. Surely one of them is better than others?
Using points, Beach villa is 25% more than Sunrise OWV while Lagoon villa is not an option at all.

Any opinions on the lagoon villa? It looks like a nice compromise between a beach villa and a OWV. Am still in two minds if I should move to an OWV mid-stay as we are with a small child and whether its worth the hassle of moving.

On another note, the points value is terrible now that the peak post-covid demand is gone and cash rates are falling slowly. The full board cost when booking in cash looks enticing especially as our child needs an early breakfast and gets hungry fairly quickly.
