In my thirty years of flying in and out of IAD, I believe I only had one flight deplaned vis Plane-Mate. It was from D (not from the field) to Main Terminal Immigration.
AA/DL/AS sometimes have their RONs deplane via plane mates. It's not that common anymore, but it does sometimes occur.
