So where does the risk move back to after a gate number eventually goes up, a pax gets there say 25 minutes before actual departure but find the gate is now closed?
if there is no published delay and no gate number the i start asking staff what is happening.
Ba wayfinder will give the intended gate, so if all else fails go there and ask the gate staff.
Turn around takes time so head off as soon as a gate appears. Dont wait for go to gate, or worse, boarding. The gate staff will be doing everything they can to reduce the departure delay.
