I also stayed at the GSY recently as a globalist. I hadn't stayed here or the Churchill before... so no comparison, but we really liked the GSY and the location.

Here are a few additional notes to the review above:
- I was also upgraded to a premium corner room, but I asked for that after learning that they had me in a deluxe balcony room and there were no views to speak of. They had no issue moving me.
- I was told that each of their rooms are unique in their layout. That appears to be the case considering how different our rooms, beds, and bathrooms look.
- To that point, my toilet room and second sink were separate from the primary bathroom, e.g. completely separate room in the entryway leading to the bedroom with the primary bathroom on the opposite side.
- "Full English Breakfast" was an option on the hot food a la carte menu and it was large (~28lbs on the room service menu). In addition, there was no charge for adding extras to other menu items, e.g. side of sausage with the French toast or omelette. However, soft drinks were extra (5lbs for the same size Diet Coke as in the minibar... didn't make that mistake twice).
- In my response to a guest services email prior to my stay, I mentioned that we were on vacation to celebrate my birthday and they had a mini birthday cake waiting in my room upon arrival.
