Capitol Kempinski is the closest (walkable) to where i need to be and a previous contributor said the rooms have an awkward layout where the bathroom takes up 40% of the floor area, which is actually a positive for me because i love large bathrooms. Want to pull the trigger but further examination reveals that their guest rooms have interior windows with a view of a mall/shopping arcade, as the hotel is part of the mall? Alternative is the JW.
I stayed at the JW too - I wouldn't return (save for business travel reasons). Strange hotel...
Kempinski I really enjoyed - it's just the room layouts that are an issue (not specifically just the size of the bathrooms...even in some of the suites, where the 'entrance' leads into the bathroom), and if you're travelling by yourself it's perfectly fine though.
They have separate parts of the building/wing so you get a view based on that - of course some of the 'views' look back into the shopping arcade, but the alternative of the suite that I was in isn't great anyway (though, yes, better than the shopping arcade) - it's definitely not a hotel for views. I had sheers the entire time, that usually does just fine.
