Flew out of IAD last weekend. Stark reminder of how crappy the A gate experience is for passengers.

Air conditioning was not adequate, not enough seats in the gate area, dueling PA announcements, being yelled at NOT to use the Lanes to stage for boarding, no United Club anywhere close, etc.
United needs to overhaul quite a bit at Dulles.

This should be a prime candidate for a United Club Fly / grab-n-go setup at the minimum.

(I do appreciate the overall reliability of operations, at least compared to EWR. And the IAD PL is great).
