I am relocating to the SF Bay Area and am contemplating getting into the UA game. My only experience has been from an NRSA perspective. I am sure that I will have more questions (such as the SDFC one above), but I was looking to see if there is a thread about upgrade chances and/or success similar to that in the AA forum. Two routes of interest are SFO-MEX and SFO-IND. My searches did not turn anything up but figured I would ask. I assume ex-SFO it is pretty much 1K or bust?

I am hoping for a fast track from my employer, but it seems much more difficult to earn PQP from non flying activities.
