we arrived at A10 at 1000 to be told all the buses have gone, you are too late. She then phoned to say they are here unload their bags.
we reckon because the plane was late they closed the gate early.
after being passed from BA staffer to BA staffer we finally got flights on tomorrow’s flight to Madeira.
Apart from the anxiety we suffered there was considerable additional expense including a night in a Heathrow hotel and an additional charge of £70 to BA.
Do I have a reasonable complaint to BA. We were at the gate 25minutes before departure time.
I think that because BA rebooked you rather than cancelling as a no-show, they recognise they have messed up. Did you by any chance take photos of the departure boards showing it as delayed and the new departure time?
