We have booked the Aman package which includes tours at each Aman resort. So the idea is that we show up, eat, drink, hide out, tour around the local area and then have the driver take us on to the next resort.

Nothing else is required, we don't check in and out, we don't pack and unpack, we just show up and move on to the next stop. We don't have to do anything! This allows more time to explore each local area then having to hire a car for several day's and take it all in at once.

Different strokes I guess as I would not call myself a novice traveler with over 2 million miles on AA and 1 million miles on CO.
