The Hilton orchard is close to the shopping area on Orchard road where as the Conrad centennial is closer to the marina and gardens by the bay but both are close to the transit system
Both have executive lounges
I think the choice will depend om what you want to do ( the Conrad will be nicer but likely to be more expensive)
There is also the Hilton Garden inn in the little india area

I have also stayed at all 3 properties. From a location perspective, I would say if you are looking for the big ticket tourist landmarks then the Conrad Centennial is the best location but if you are looking for shopping and malls then Hilton Singapore is the best. But both are very, very close to the MRT to get around easily. The Hilton Singapore is in the middle of Orchard Road. Both hotels are great and have separate threads. If you are HH Diamond you would get lounge access included whichever room you book, and at either property. Lounge in both properties includes afternoon tea and evening cocktails with great food. The EL at the Conrad is on the top floor and has great views over the Bay area.
Personally if I had the option and for just a short trip I would choose the Conrad Centennial but then I'm not into shopping.
The HGI is a very nice property but it's not a 5* experience. If you have the funds the experience at either of the other properties is worth the money.
