Sure. But it's a number that's bigger than I expected. E.g., Marriott has 9000 properties and roughly 1.6m rooms vs Hyatt's 1300 properties and 280k rooms. Based on the ratio of coverage, my estimate of WoH membership would have been lower, perhaps around 30m.
It’s well known by analyst that Hyat has the highest number of loyalty members per room (vs Marriott, Hilton and IHG) and thus assumed a more loyal customer base. That’s one of the few reasons (with the largest new properties pipeline relative to the current network) for it’s valuation.
