I stayed here for a night last night because it was walking distance from where I needed to be. I've been to the Mayflower countless times for meetings but never stayed here. It was nicer than I thought it would be.
Pros:
-corp rate was $197, waived destination fee
-11 a.m. Your24 check-in was granted 2 days in advance
-immediately after my Ambassador wrote me to let me know she had double-confirmed the Your24 with the property, I noticed in the app that I had been pre-upgraded to a 1 bedroom king suite
-no problem getting the 4 p.m. checkout and no one bothered me when I had the DND on the door from noon to 4 p.m. (I took the DND off the door at 4 and was prepared to leave the moment housekeeping showed up, but no one came to kick me out right away, and I ended up leaving closer to 5)
-breakfast credit of $27 is actually enough to cover a legitimate breakfast (corned beed hash w/ 2 poached eggs and an iced double espresso), and breakfast goes from 6:30 to 11
-shower pressure is great
-welcome amenity of some bougie water and a couple chocolates was a nice touch
-when I came back late in the evening, I asked the front desk about water bottles and was given several complimentary (no mention of status needed, LOL)
Cons:
-the chair at the desk in the living room was absurdly low, making it impractical to use the desk (felt like I was getting carpal tunnel by typing from that far down)
-no lounge
I guess that's it? Honestly it was a solid stay. Everyone was supremely friendly.
I never really thought too much about staying here in the past but I will certainly consider it again in the future. Pics of the living room & amenity:
