I don't value AA miles at 2.5/$1 due to AA award changes and horrendous lack of availability in 2024.
International trips are saver discounts weren't available much with partners like AY, TN, JL, that was wide open in 2023.

So I won't purchase at normal rate due to AA increases in ward levels and lack of available partner flights.
