I could fly AS to SEA and then BA back to LHR which would be on one ticket although would leave me with a 7:30 layover due to my preference for the later flight.
Option two would be to fly Westjet to SEA which would get in 2:20 mins before my BA flight departs (17:20 to 19:40) this would be on a separate ticket. Would this layover be enough since I would already be precleared in YYC? I would be travelling with checked baggage so would need to collect and recheck if i’m right in thinking?

If anyone could help me decide on whether the second option is viable (as it is preferable) that would be great.

Many thanks,
Felix

Edit: I know it’s not involving DAL but this seemed like the best thread for it
2:20 on separate tickets would be well beloe my risk tolerance levels bags or no bags

If you are delayed you potentially get marked as a no show on an F flight
