Odd how inconsistent AA is at deciding what appetizer to put on the tray. Used to be that deluxe (1300+ mile) dinner got the shrimp appetizer and salad, shorter dinner flights salad only. Now a short flight like DFW-ONT is getting the shrimp without the salad? And I've had 1300+ mile flights with some strange dyed green whipped hummus (?) monstrosity. Strange.
Anyone else notice how the beef to mac and cheese ratio is shifting over time?
It could also be the caterer. They had made more of the 1300+ meals than they needed. So, they just loaded them on the ONT flight. It happens!
