Hi,
I’m looking to do a trip to the US and Canada next summer and would likely be flying into SEA and then from YYC back to LHR via SEA (in order to fly on BA F as a pose to Westjet direct). There are two options for the return:
I could fly AS to SEA and then BA back to LHR which would be on one ticket although would leave me with a 7:30 layover due to my preference for the later flight.
Option two would be to fly Westjet to SEA which would get in 2:20 mins before my BA flight departs (17:20 to 19:40) this would be on a separate ticket. Would this layover be enough since I would already be precleared in YYC? I would be travelling with checked baggage so would need to collect and recheck if i’m right in thinking?

If anyone could help me decide on whether the second option is viable (as it is preferable) that would be great.
