Hello all. Booking a big anniversary trip which will include three nights in IST in December. Torn between the Conrad and the JW (FWIW, i'm Diamond and Platinum respectively)--would also be interested in The Ritus (Tapestry) if it opens in time or possible the Tomtom suite from SLH (almost ZERO info on them here). Conrad location is a sticking point--It's been years since my last trip to IST when we stayed in the old city which was charming but obviously a circus. Conrad just seems so far. I hate to get my blood pressure up in the taxis and love public transport, but is the boat/bus actually easy to navigate in December? Also, assuming low season I'm wondering if there's any chance for a Diamond to catch an upgrade to a suite--looks like quite some time since any FTers reported suite upgrades. Would love and appreciate anyone's experienced thoughts on proximity/logistics and upgrade---thank you in advance!!
