Hoping for some guidance here. My mother is having issues trying to get my father's account/points transferred into her name for her future use. He passed away last year and she has until September 4th to get this issue addressed.
She found this page (link below) but there is an issue in the instructions and the response of the contact center. According to the Hilton page below,
"The Member receiving Points must have an existing account. A new account can't be created just to receive these Points." The problem is that my mother doesn't have an account of her own. She always travelled with my father. The contact center told me she should create a new account and follow the instructions on the page. But of course that contradicts the above text.
