I-I at T3 in 85 minutes, separate airlines and tickets?

I’ve somewhat insanely booked Aero Nomad FRU-DEL, arriving at 9:30 a.m. and Bhutan Airlines DEL-KTN-PBH departing at 10:55 a.m. next Monday (FRU-DEL only operates twice weekly and there’s no other flight to PBH on Mondays). Any tips to make this? We have US passports with Indian visas but are hoping to just use the transfer desk. I’ve been in contact with the Bhutan Airlines station manager and he will do his best to facilitate the transfer and I have his mobile number. A friend at Aero Nomad advised that the transfer desk has not previously been willing to help their pax. Aero Nomad doesn’t have J and we’re booked in Y on Bhutan Airlines. I could book J on Bhutan Airlines instead if it might make a material difference.

Our bags are carryon size but likely to be overweight. I’m hoping we can get them through somehow, as I imagine checking bags will make the connection almost impossible. Hypothetically, any idea what would happen if we abandoned our checked bags in Delhi and attempted to get them in a week? Or to have Bhutan Airlines carry them on their next flight on Wednesday?

Is it worth getting the Encalm transfer assistance?
