I flew first class on Air India last year and they use that as their contract lounge as they only have one flight per day. I agree it is horrible. Even the chairs were in a terrible state. I took a photo. Why they couldn’t have used the SAS lounge (a partner airline that time, although they are now switching to Skyteam) is beyond me. Then again the seats on the aircraft weren’t in much better shape.
