Also, I would avoid Axis for forex transactions because they even charge forex on refunds/cancellations etc. that Citi never did. They're the chindiest bank... Of course now with Olympuis all that nonsense might have already been introduced.
It never crossed my mind for a second that they would deduct points for credit transactions that had never been performed through the card to begin with. I've been using my Citi & SBI cards to get VAT refunds for years & never has this nonsense taken place. Its insane.
