Wow. Cap One has frozen my accounts for 'fraud' because i redeemed points (which went through!) from BKK. The ONLY way they have for me to release the fraud is via regular mail, FAX, or via some secured link where I would need to upload my ID. The turn around time is 1-10 BUSINESS DAYS. There is no escalations, no anything. All my accounts would be frozen until this happens. The 'manager' in the Philippines (she told me her office location) said there was NO ONE else in the company that would speak to me about this, and there was NOTHING I can do. Thankfully I carry Chase and Citi and others, but DO NOT TRUST CAP ONE if you travel internationally.
