Especially since you can't get a normal Lyft/Uber to drop you off down there.
Doesn't seem like a big perk, though I admit I haven't used it and try to schedule travel on off-peak days.
It is very fast, but at same time not meant to make you feel rushed. You sit in the little reception area, they pour you a wine of your choice from the selection and have a relaxed moment.. That same moment would be spent standing in line above in the clear/tsa and going thru security with the herd.. Here you enjoy a glass of wine, go thru your “private security” up the elevator and have a new glass of wine a minute later. Pretty soon, it will be a left turn for a better choice of wine as you enter into D1. If you’re going thru TBIT anyway, then use the new AF lounge.. You’ll have better wine and food selection right from the get go and no need to hike it back and forth.

The private TSA line is the perk, but again just depends on how the regular lines are at the time of arrival. Having been dealing with ambiguity and nonsense with AA and their lounges & access I was just hoping for something simple & easy with DL but that doesnt seem to be the case here.
If the ultimate goal is Bradley then this might not be the quickest route but to get to the D1 lounge it will be perfect.
Agree with the AA comment. Although at JFK, I do think they do a good job with clear signage at Chelsea and Soho to know which one you can enter.

Agree. Well done Delta on this one.
