Odd how inconsistent AA is at deciding what appetizer to put on the tray. Used to be that deluxe (1300+ mile) dinner got the shrimp appetizer and salad, shorter dinner flights salad only.
On PHL-LAX yesterday I ordered the Shawarma Chicken and the app was just one ball of hummus with two slices of cucumber and some pita. (There was a separate salad.)
Oddly, the other entree choice, a pasta, came with a totally different app (looked like the cheese and marinated vegetables app).
