I last did that specific journey in 1993 so first hand experience is likely to out of date! Seat 61 probs best to guide noting it is a pretty long journey..

There are also some seats from Chisinau, Moldova. However that's an 7 hour drive away, plus a border (no visa required) and likely to be $$$ for the tickets.
