It won't be a strike.

It will be an infuriating work-to-rule. All they need to do is mess with tightly organized schedules to bring the airline to its' knees.

See:

https://www.ifalpa.org/media/4108/25...lpa-canada.pdf

"Complicating matters are the recent actions by the Canadian government which has severely restricted the right to strike
in the federal sector in Canada. The entire Canadian labour movement is very concerned that the Canadian government
has seen fit on two recent occasions (one in rail and one in aviation) to subvert the normal bargaining process and the
right to strike with mandatory binding arbitration to settle outstanding matters."

Based on the WesJet and rail situation, they know if they strike they'll just be ordered back to work. So why not just cause havoc without a strike?
