Thanks for the guidance everyone. I will make a start by setting him up on the household account. I've been told over lunch that he doesn't actually have a passport, but one is being applied for shortly, so I will leave off actually trying to make the booking for him until that is in hand but at that point I will ring the Gold line and see if we can do the separate booking and TCP. If so, I'll hold my parents to a pre-flight round in lieu of the lounge seeing as this was their idea! And if we can't take him this time, I've promised we will do something in the new year as it sounds like he is desperate to take after his aunt and start seeing the world
