This isn't necessarily good advice. If you refund your ticket you're renouncing your rights under UK261 and Israeli regulations.

BA should be the one fixing this. HUACA once more and if they refuse to rebook you, take notes of time and who you spoke to. Clearly ask the agent if BA is refusing to rebook you despite their obligations under existing regulations.

Then go ahead and buy a ticket in the same class of service on another airline. Submit the full cost of that ticket for BA to pay up. If they still refuse, you may have to go to arbitration or MCOL.
