I fly with a hard shell wheeled Antler case and an expandable laptop backpack, it is about 2/3 of the size of my Antler case. I have never had any issue and fly probably every second week, either in CE or CW. I've had occasion tot take a few Y flights recently and although I've been approached at the gate about the case, Group one on the pass usually acts like blood on the lintels and they overlook it.
