Either way, for the difference of around £1000 I’d stay in Club World. I have my own differentials for what I’d be willing to pay to upgrade on various routes and while I’d happily pay £1000 to go from World Traveler Plus to Club World, I wouldn’t pay the same £1000 for Club World to First.
Yes, I've just checked. It is the same number of miles for both options. The only difference is the extra cost of the tax.
