Abandoned our villa in Ubud prematurely given Russian crowds. Booked basic King room for $750 a night w/corp discount, upgraded shortly thereafter as Platinum to villa suite garden view with pool (so, still in main building). Appreciate the ability to exit directly on to grounds. Far cry from lagoon villa 826 where stayed with kids several years ago, but didn’t feel like spending that amount (particularly since we are still paying for an empty villa in Ubud). Occupancy feels low, I can’t top the review directly above. But was a tad disappointed with Kayuputi as menu felt limited. But sitting outside at the bar was absolutely lovely. This resort is as spectacular as I remember. Walked past Grand Hyatt and thought it looked really weak.
