One uses a Travel Agent to deal with things like this. Unfortuantaly in this case the TA is Expedia so I suggest OP get on the phone with Expedia. Ask to be escalated to a supervisor and they should deal with QR or BA or whomever to pick up the peices.

When calling ask for a supervisor immediately. Expedia front line staff are useless.
