Upgrade offer to F in my reservation from the start was about $2500; about 5 days out, it more than doubled to around $5200 with at least 6 of 8 seats still available. At OLCI time it came down to $1990; no further solicitations or offers for the upgrade at the gate. In the end there were no takers as F went out with just the original two pax.

Same algorithm now for an upcoming ZRH-SFO at the end of this coming week. Upgrade price since ticket purchase was CHF2180. A few days from departure, offer has gone up to CHF4770, with 4 of 8 seats taken so far.
