What Panic Stations describes is much more akin to the staff travel experience.

Especially when, at T1 Domestic, the bag-drop consists of "Bags at Gate".

Ever tried to get a 22kg large size Delsey suitcase through a handluggage screening machine? There's about 2mm of clearance on either side....that is if you don't give yourself a hernia manhandling it onto the conveyor.

And don't get me started on golf clubs!!
