Interested to hear any opinions on the Marina Bay Sands' Paiza Collection rooms. MBS has been going through a property-wide renovation these past few years, going tower-by-tower and floor-by-floor to ensure guests don't really notice what's going on. I've spent a few weeks over the past couple years staying at various rooms in the Sands Collection (their branding for the newly renovated rooms) and it seems like they are basically done renovating rooms as the old rooms aren't showing up on their website anymore. Of course, MBS cannot be considered a "true" luxury hotel as there are thousands of rooms and is basically the most high profile location not just in Singapore, but probably Southeast Asia, getting insane amounts of foot traffic from those not staying on property. Despite this, I love this hotel for the convenience of being connected to a fantastic mall, MRT, the infinity pool, casino, etc. etc.
The Paiza Collection is interesting though because it has butler service, a new "Paiza Sky Residence" club lounge, and dedicated elevators are advertised. Does anyone have experience with this? MBS is my go-to in Singapore and wondering if the premium over the already exceptional Sands Collection rooms is worth it.
