Thanks for the heads-up. I've found it's always prudent to check the cancellation policy for any hotel reservation, especially with the variability that I've seen in the terms, most of the time anywhere between 1-3 days before the stay, but sometimes more or different.

Also, haven't seen it much with Marriott yet, but Hyatt has a lot of cancellable reservations, but they still take a 1 night deposit.
