Website offered full credit card refund for cancellation; gave me an eCredit anyway

A few weeks ago, I booked a flight with a corporate credit card, and then subsequently wanted to change the return date earlier today. The Delta site's cancellation page said I would receive a full refund to the original form of payment, so I processed the cancellation; changing the dates instead would've been more complicated (i.e. expensive) as I had used my own funds to upgrade the seats to a higher cabin.

The confirmation email also confirmed that the ticket (plus upgrades purchased) would be refunded to their respective original forms of payment, in unambiguous language, with the added caveat that it might take 1-2 billing cycles for the credits to post to the original cards.

However, I also checked my eCert page and now an eCredit for the value of the cancelled flight has appeared. Did Delta's website mistakenly give me an eCredit instead of, or perhaps in addition to, a full refund to the credit card? Given this is a business trip funded my a client, I need to ensure Delta has processed the credit card refund correctly.
