While cruising is mostly a lifestyle to me - I prefer land-based travel for the most part - there are indeed many voyages for which cruising is de rigueur and superior to land-based traveling, and I count Antarctica at the top of that list, followed by Svalbard, Galapagos, Norway/North Cape, South Pacific Islands, the Kimberley Islands, etc. - essentially, all expedition voyages, islands cruising/hopping, and selected coastal itineraries.
